Need to pivot quickly? Online course sharing unlocks flexible solutions when students need support--and it’s easier than you think to get started.
The Delta variant has introduced a wave of questions and anxiety as institutions prepare for the coming academic year. Colleges and universities are sending strong messages that student safety is the number one priority and are adjusting plans accordingly.
Many anticipated a “near-normal” semester as students returned to campuses. But with increased COVID infections and adjustments to vaccination policies, it’s difficult for campus leaders to predict what fall will look like. Manhattanville College, for example, is considering new tactics after seeing a rise in students considering gap years, and Goldey-Beacom College plans to continue leaning into “flex learning” initiatives to offer students who aren’t returning to campus the courses they need online.
Students and institutions need these flexible, online options now more than ever. To help guide schools who are new-to-course sharing, and to support the schools in our network as they ramp up for another academic year, our team has developed the “Fall 2021 Contingency Guide,” based on insights and advice from course sharing experts.
Help campuses proactively prepare for disruptions caused by the Delta variant.
Provide targeted recommendations where course sharing can help offer flexible options to students in need.
But our support for fall doesn’t stop here--we’re always available to help talk through your plans. I love this feedback from Dr. Emily DeFrietas, Director of Online Learning, at Gardner Webb University about the guidance she received from our account management team: “My Acadeum representative has been really helpful in discussing possible initiatives that pair best with my institution. That's one of the things I appreciate the most...being able to talk with someone about it.”
Our team looks forward to connecting with you on strategies to support your students’ progression, retention, and degree completion, this fall and beyond.
